Tamaiti Williams is one of three former St Kentigern College students in the 2019 New Zealand Under 20s team in what is his first year out of school.
Currently living and playing rugby in Christchurch, Williams is a powerful presence in the front row and was a member of the 2017 and 2018 New Zealand Schools team. Williams is renowned as a strong ball runner with deceptive speed.
Having made his Mitre 10 Cup debut for Canterbury in 2020, Williams was selected in the Māori All Blacks squad to play against Moana Pasifika. He made his debut off the bench.
Williams made his Super Rugby debut for the Crusaders in 2021.
